Brodysseus is the name of the journey.
This is not a monument to what has already been finished. It is a living map of what is being formed: better gatherings, shared wisdom, written reflections, local experiments, old dreams, new ventures, and a few mysteries still unfolding in the distance.
Life should be lived with purpose, built with discipline, shared with good companions, and offered back to God with gratitude.

Lone Star Social Lab is the operating architecture behind Sober Socials, LĪBĀTIŌ, and the future Lodge: my current work to build better social infrastructure from Waco outward.

Spring Valley Freedom Lodge
The Freedom Lodge is where much of this work first became real: my family estate, my organizational sandbox, my creative sanctuary, and one of the most formative chapters of my life.
Shiloh Eco-Polis
Shiloh is the long-range civic vision that grew from the Freedom Lodge: a proposed Central Texas prototype for land, faith, stewardship, governance, enterprise, housing, culture, and community formation.
Prosperity Wayfinder
Prosperity Wayfinder is my strategic guidance framework for helping people, projects, founders, and organizations move from confusion to clarity, scattered effort to ordered action, and potential to purposeful prosperity.
Who This Is For
Sober Socials is for people who want to raise the standard of their social life.
It is for the person who still wants to have fun, but no longer wants fun to cost them their clarity, their peace, their health, their reputation, or their next morning.
It is for those who want to meet new people without shallow networking.
It is for those who want friendship without constant pressure to drink.
It is for people who have outgrown old rooms but have not yet found the new ones.
It is for men and women who want adventure, fellowship, shared meals, lake days, coffee hangs, community calls, creative nights, service projects, deep conversations, and wholesome recreation.
It is for the companion who still wants to raise a cup.
Just not the same cup that used to take so much from them.
This is for anyone willing to ask a serious question:

My legal name is Brody Gamble.
Most people here will know me as Brodysseus.
It began as a play on my name, but it did not remain one.
It is the name that emerged as I became the man my life required me to become.
Every man has an odyssey.
Mine has taken me far and wide, through the world within and without.
Through highs & lows- Onward & Upward...
I was born & raised in Waco, Texas, shaped by Spring Valley, and formed by a life that has carried me through work, wandering, fellowship, failure, faith, recovery, responsibility, and return.
I have been blessed to live an extraordinary life, and I have also been blessed to endure the trials and tribulations within it. Through faith and humility, I have come to feel profound gratitude for all of it...

Since early maturity, I have known that I wanted to be of meaningful service to my community. I did not always know what form that service would take, but I knew the desire was there: to build, gather, host, steward, organize, write, create, and leave something useful behind.
That desire has carried me through construction, cultural arts, event production, hospitality, media, land stewardship, entrepreneurship, and community development.
It eventually culminated at my family’s estate in Spring Valley, where I organized the Freedom Lodge: a living sand box for community, brotherhood, affordable housing, environmental stewardship, cultural arts, fellowship, intentional events, and organizational development.
The Freedom Lodge was not perfect.
But it sure was beautiful.
The friendships formed, the bees rescued, the memories made, the lessons learned, and the people gathered there became part of the foundation beneath everything I am building now.
For years, I have been asking one central question:
How can we create better ways to live together & Prosper?
That question has become the throughline of my work.
Sober Socials is my answer to the need for a healthier, more intentional social life.
Walk With the Wise is my answer to the need for wisdom.
LĪBĀTIŌ is my answer to the need for a better beverage at the table.
The Chronicle, The Library, The Freedom Lodge, Prosperity Wayfinder, and Shiloh Eco-Polis each carry a different part of the same pursuit.
This website is the home record of that work.
It is a place to meet me, understand the mission, engage with the active projects, explore the archives, read the writings, and decide whether there is a reason for us to build, gather, think, or speak together.
The work has taken many forms.
The calling remains the same:
to build better rooms, preserve wisdom, cultivate community, serve what is good, turn experience into stewardship, and build for those who come after us.

Waco’s Conversation with Excellence
The premise of this podcast comes from Proverbs 13:20:
“He who walks with the wise shall become wise.”
That verse has become more than a line of Scripture to me.
It has become a journey.
Walk With the Wise is my invitation to sit down with people in my community whose lives, work, character, craft, service, and hard-earned perspective are worth learning from.
I “walk with the wise” by entering a real conversation with someone who has something meaningful to share: an origin story, a body of work, a philosophy, a wound, a victory, a lesson, a warning, a hope, or a piece of wisdom that should not pass quietly through the room.
We record that conversation.
We produce it into an episode.
And we preserve it as a walk with wisdom to be cherished, shared, and returned to.
It is my way of honoring the people around me, learning from those who have walked further than I have, and creating a living archive of wisdom from Waco, Central Texas, and beyond.
If you have a story worth telling, wisdom worth preserving, or someone in mind whose life deserves to be recorded, this is the door.

People are rethinking alcohol.
They are not asking to become less social.
They still need tables to gather around, rituals to share, friendships worth tending, and communities worth coming back to.
That is the work of Lone Star Social Labs.
LSSL is the operating company behind LĪBĀTIŌ, Sober Socials, and the future Lodge. The architecture is simple: Sober Socials is the community, LĪBĀTIŌ is the social beverage system, and The Lodge is the long-range physical home we are building toward.
Sober Socials is a Waco and Central Texas community for people who want a better social life by design: more intentional gatherings, better conversation, stronger friendships, and nights they can actually remember.
LĪBĀTIŌ is the Social Functional Beverage at the center of the table.
Not a copy of the old drinking ritual.
A better one.
We are currently in prelaunch, forming the founding community, building the digital infrastructure, & preparing the first Gatherings.
The Chronicle & The Library
Notes From the Work in Progress.
The Chronicle is the living record: essays, field notes, arguments, observations, and ideas in motion. It is where I write while the work is still becoming.
It is a record of thought under construction.
The Library is the more permanent shelf: curated readings, frameworks, briefs, research documents, dossiers, and source material that shape the work behind the work.
The Chronicle follows the fire.
The Library keeps the lamp.
Foundations Beneath the Current Work
The active work has roots. Some of them are still growing.
Some have completed their formal season.
Some are waiting for the next right moment.
These foundations remain part of the story.
The Freedom Lodge
The Freedom Lodge is where much of the work became real.
It began at my family’s Spring Valley estate, a place I stewarded over several years as it grew from house and land into community, experiment, sanctuary, proving ground, and memory.
Through the Lodge, I established a 508(c)(1)(a) community development organization and used the property to practice what I had been studying: environmental stewardship, cultural arts, community building, affordable housing, and ministry.
We rescued and relocated wild honeybee colonies. We built a greenhouse. We planted gardens and fruit trees. We built a thriving pond. We hosted open mic nights, backyard concerts, collaborative creative projects, shared meals, campfire conversations, and gatherings where people came looking for something more honest than another ordinary night.
For six years, the Lodge also provided lodging for community members. At its peak season in 2025, six men lived here, including me.
The ministry expression was called Bibles & Barbells: men lifting weights, breaking bread, gathering in fellowship, and studying scripture together.
2025 was the peak season and final year of formal operations. At the beginning of 2026, family housing needs required the property to transition, and that era of the Freedom Lodge came to a close.
The formal structure changed.
The legacy did not.
The bees are still here. The friendships remain. The work continues. I still live and work at the Lodge, even if the old public rhythm of events and community infrastructure has concluded.
This page exists to preserve what we built, what we learned, and the memories that still bear fruit.
Shiloh Eco-Polis · The Commonwealth
Shiloh Eco-Polis is my long-range community economic development initiative and in many ways, my life’s work.
For nearly a decade, I worked on the question beneath it:
What would it take to build a place where land, governance, culture, enterprise, formation, and stewardship were not separated into fragments, but integrated into one coherent pattern of life?
I came to call this model a Civilizational Asset Class: a place-based framework for long-range civic renewal that treats land not merely as property, but as the ground for community, economy, culture, formation, and generational stewardship.
Shiloh has been taken as far as one founder can responsibly take it alone.
It is on the shelf while I focus on building LSSL, gathering proof, strengthening the operating base, and preparing for the kind of allies and resources the next stage requires.
The proposal remains available for those who are serious enough to read before they speak.
Prosperity Wayfinder
Prosperity Wayfinder was the strategic guidance service I developed to help people move from confusion to clarity and from scattered effort to ordered action.
It served individuals, founders, relationships, small businesses, organizations, and community partners seeking better direction, stronger structure, clearer priorities, and a more disciplined path forward.
The guiding phrase was simple:
Find the path. Build the work. Prosper with purpose.
I am not actively promoting Prosperity Wayfinder at this time.
My attention is presently focused on LSSL, Sober Socials, LĪBĀTIŌ, Walk With the Wise, and the broader body of work gathered here.
That said, I remain open by exception to serious inquiries from people in my network when the matter is genuine, the fit is clear, and my schedule allows.
